Cafe Zero and other community catering projects like Elsie’s, were run by our talented chefs, who produced a range of delicious hand cooked meals using our surplus supplies. All sites were closed by our landlord during the pandemic.

The team decided that just one new cafe would reopen and it would be at our new hub at The Headlands, because sharing premises for such enterprises was always challenging but would be more so in Covid times.

For now, our head chef (who has decades of restaurant and high level catering event experience) has been coming up with recipes and will share ideas through our talks and demonstrations.

But soon we hope a timeline to open a new cafe at the The Headlands will be unveiled. It isĀ  part of an exciting and much bigger project to redevelop the site to develop the community.
