Foodkind CIC (formerly Revolution Zero) has its hub in The Headlands after relocating from St.James, Northampton. This is where we pack our Bags of Good food parcels for children and their families at risk here (via referral).

Three times a week, Shop Zero opens at the hub. It is an environmental project which shares surplus stock – sometimes past best before dates – with the public at three openings (Tues and Thurs 1-3 and Sat 11-1) but please check on facebook before travelling.

It has a deli’ counter for our chilled rescue food, a series of fridges for dairy items and drinks, and plentiful supplies of bread and baked goods. We also stock dried and canned goods.

Anyone is welcome to visit Shop Zero when it is open: we do no operate checks and people from all walks of life support the project.

If you are finding us for the first time, we are at the former URC Church, The Headlands, Northampton NN3 2NU.

We also work with a series of schools, charities and other organisations which have hosted pop-up shops too and provide catering size tins and baked goods to scout and guide groups and we have provided pre-schools and church groups with toddler snacks.

Outside, our eco gardens planted by our lead gardener, Sandra and her deputy Keane. They have taken it from solid soil to a blooming array of flowers and insect friendly plants. and make their own compost..and even rescue plants donated by shops in need of  nurture.
