FoodKind CIC collects surplus food from supermarkets and outlets to share in our community shop and food aid. We are a social enterprise and not-for-profit and rely on volunteers to operate. Website www.foodkind.co.uk How you can help:
- To collect food donations – we work 7 days a week, morning and evening;
- Hub based for stock processing and keep things organised;
- In customer-facing roles to run the shop openings Sat, Tues, Weds, Thurs;
- Skills-based volunteering such as fundraising, publicity, social media, business systems, handy jobs and gardening.

Volunteering
We take the safety of our customers, staff and volunteers very seriously. We train our staff and volunteers in food safety and hygiene, as well as a range of fire, first aid and other courses in safe practices. Our sites are subject to a H&S audit and we are currently updating our H&S policy.
